Darius Powell

Physical Therapist Assistant

Darius Powell, PTA, earned his Associate in Science- Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from Johnson College in Scranton in 2022, after graduating from North Pocono High School in 2019. He joined PRO Rehab 2023 and treats patients in our Moosic facility, both on land and in the pool.
Darius developed an interest in physical therapy after requiring PT himself from a sports related injury. He enjoys getting to know his patients, while helping them to achieve the maximum benefits of physical therapy, so that they can return to their normal routines, activities and doing what they enjoy.
In his free time, Darius enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, hunting and fishing. He is a big sports fan and his favorite teams are the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Eagles, Penn State, and The Pittsburgh Penguins. Darius also volunteers for his hometown little league team in Jefferson Township.
