Melissa Prushinski

Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist, DPT

Melissa Prushinski, DPT graduated Magna cum laude from College Misericordia in 1999 with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from College Misericordia in December 2006. Melissa joined PRO Rehabilitation Services in 1999 as a Physical Therapist in our Plains clinic. In 2004 she was promoted to Manager of the Hanover Township clinic. In 2006, Melissa became the Clinical Manager for our West Hazleton clinic.

Melissa holds a direct access authorization, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is also an APTA Credentialized Clinical Instructor. She has expertise in the shoulder, foot, ankle and lower extremities. Melissa has also pursued further education on function and dysfunction of the pelvis, the evaluation and treatment of knee pathologies, McConnell Patellar Taping, Orthopaedic Therapy of the Shoulder and Dynamic spinal stabilization. Melissa resides in Plains Township with her husband Robert and two children.
