Margaret (Meg) Yeager, BS, MSPT, DPT, CSCS is a Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager of our Elysburg and Shamokin offices. She earned a BS in Biology from Grove City College and received her Masters' degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. She became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 1997 and earned her post-professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2010. Meg joined the PRO Rehab team in July 2021.
Meg has a wide range of experience treating all types of Orthopedic Injuries, including specialized training in Hand Therapy and Dynamic Spinal Stabilization. She has worked extensively with athletes at all levels as well as with injured workers. Her primary focus is the correction of bio-mechanical faults that lead to injury.
In addition to her work with orthopedic injuries, Meg has experience working with Women's Health issues, including pregnancy and postpartum therapy, incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Meg also previously owned a consulting business in which she provided ergonomic assessment, job site analysis, and injury prevention programs for businesses, industries, and the Federal government.
Meg taught Anatomy and Physiology at the collegiate level and was an adjunct professor in the DPT program at Misericordia University. She continues to work as a clinical instructor for PT students to provide pro bono rehabilitation services to patients in rural Jamaica.
Meg lives locally with her husband and dog. She enjoys skiing, hiking, participating in community events, and traveling.
