Melissa Marie Jones joined PRO Rehabilitation Services in January 2022 and is a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in our Plains clinic. Melissa received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Misericordia University in 2009 and her Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Pennsylvania State University in 2013. Melissa has been a PTA with a particular interest in aquatic PT as well as orthopedic rehab in the outpatient rehab setting.
Melissa is also an Adjunct Lab Assistant for the PTA program at Lackawanna College, where she enjoys assisting students in the lab for classes such as orthopedics and therapeutic exercise.
Melissa is also a physical fitness instructor at the Lackawanna College Police Academy, where she enjoys assisting cadets into becoming physically fit for their future law enforcement careers.
She lives in Wilkes-Barre with her husband, Rob and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
